Thank you sir, may I have another
I was bored today so I rented movies. I was all happy that Secretary was available. I saw the preview for this movie a good while ago. I've been waiting for its release for months, and now here it is. I liked it. Then again, I would. The casting was marvelous. James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal were great. Of course, I was more interested in the subject matter than I was in James Spader. So if you want to see Maggie Gyllenhaal naked, James Spader jerk off, or you just like a good sound spanking, then this movie is for you. Me? I just like a good sound spanking.

Simply sleep...
Can simply suck my ass. I take two like the directions say, and I don't fall asleep until two hours later. A friend suggested I take 4. My luck I'll take a double dose, fall asleep quickly, and never wake up again. I already knew from past trials that Simply Sleep doesn't work. It was all I could find tho. In my opinion, nothing that is non-habit forming ever works....ever. Nytol on the other hand. Nytol - highly addictive (especially if you are me), highly effective. Gotta get me some Nytol. I took my Simpy Sleep at 9:30. Fell asleep at 11:30. Woke up at 2:45am. See how this in not effective?? It is slightly better than the one hour of sleep that I'd been getting, I guess.
My cousin is with the 3rd infantry, battalion, something or other. All I know for sure is he is with the group that was 5 miles from downtown Baghdad the other day. His sister saw him on the news. He was laying on the ground shooting at something. People I suppose. Here's hoping he does his job and comes home to his wife and son soon. Good luck, Rick, Rich, or whatever you're calling yourself these days!

The walking death
I'm watching Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Meyers. Halloween 5 was on before. AMC likes to do loops. I missed the first showing of Halloween 4 so I had to watch them out of sequence. Fear not. They will be showing Halloween 5 again in about half an hour. Sleep would be a nice change of pace. I've already written in my journal. I opened up my story, stared at it awhile, then closed it again. I have the whole next scene planned out already in my story notebook, I just don't have the motivation to write it down. I tried to crochet, but I can't see straight enough to do it well. My CD stand is all out of order. Maybe I'll alphabetize it. I hate it when my CDs aren't in order. No, wait, I must have done that already. Maybe last week. I don't know when I did it, but they are all fixed now. Maybe a good fairy did it.
I seem to have rambled from my primary topic. Halloween and Michael Meyers. I love how he never runs. He's not in a rush to kill his prey. He has complete confidence that he will catch up to and evidentually kill his victim...no matter how much of a head start they have, or how fast they run, or how loud they scream. He has no worries. The person runs from him, but he knows that sooner or later that person is gonna get caught up in sheets on the clothesline, twist his/her ankle and fall down, or simply just get winded, stop in the middle of the street and look around wide-eyed until he catches up to them. Sometimes I feel sorry for him when his crazy mind messes with him. One of his victims will say his name, talk to him a little. He'll cock his head to the side, look off into the distance. You can almost sense him thinking, I remember when I was a 6 year old boy in a clown suit climbing the stairs to kill my sister. Oh what fun I had when I was young. Just as his grip on the knife starts to lessen and I fear the worst, he'll remember himself and start slashing. That a boy Michael! Kill 'em! Kill 'em!
