Christmas bells are ringing

It's Christmas. I don't have much to say about that. Have a safe and joyous holiday everyone, and I'll leave you with this little exerpt:

Happy Xmas (War Is Over)
Yoko Ono & John Lennon
(Happy Xmas Kyoko
Happy Xmas Julian)

So this is Xmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Xmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear ones
The old and the young

A very Merry Xmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And so this is Xmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The world is so wrong
And so happy Xmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight

A very Merry Xmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my......without the bears

I just found out that Bush passed an exotic pet law regulating the transport of
big cats across state lines. Good. Tigers happen to be my favorite animal. They are remarkable, beautiful creatures. Did I forget endangered?? Remarkable, beautiful, endangered creatures. Yes, I own lots of tigers......they just happen to be stuffed animals. Tigers, lions, leopards, and so forth are wild animals, not housepets. I find it appalling that these cats can be purchased over the internet. It's sick. If you want a feline, get yourself a tabby and leave the lions in Africa. If you have a love for the big cats, make a donation to the Wildlife Federation or something, don't buy a tiger cub on e-bay. Can you imagine the cat hair a tiger drops?? I don't even want to think about the litterbox.
