What's the word, hummingbird On June 30th, my nephew had surgery. His appendix burst, and he almost died. He had been getting increasingly ill for almost a week and the doctors didn't know what was wrong with him. They wrote it off as a virus of some sort. Matt was having trouble walking and his leg hurt him. A body scan discovered that his appendix had burst. He didn't have the tell-tale abdominal pain because his appendix wasn't located in the normal place; it was pretty much in his back. Odd. If it had been located correctly, the docs surely would have discovered the problem and, Matt would have been in severe pain, before the offending organ burst and began leaking potentially fatal nastiness into his little body. He was in the hospital for almost 5 days, but he is all better now. Yay! I had my eye zapped on the 29th. So far, my insurance has covered it. Apparently I will have to have them approve every procedure as the letter I received stated that it was only approved for this time. This leads me to believe that sooner or later, they will refuse me for one reason or another. I've been blogging and visiting blogs sparingly lately because I'm trying to avoid eye strain. I try to visit only on days that I can see well. Some days are better than others. I've spoken to Eric once since May 29th, and I'm preparing to remove him from my cell phone. I'm just tired. I'm tired of alot of things actually. Yes, ladies and gentleman, the bitch is back. posted by Beth 1:49 PM . . .
